Discovering Opportunity

Why do it?

Setting goals and objectives is the easy part for a business. Understanding what you must do to achieve them is a little more complicated. If your plan isn’t delivering the expected results, there may be a misalignment between your goals and the activities required to achieve them. This course will examine and test your strategy against the tactics you are currently using and isolate where the problems are and provide options to remedy them.

How it Works

The workshop is divided into five 45-minute sessions.
The first is a discovery session with up to three stakeholders to understand your issues and primary areas of concern.

Sessions two through five occur over a morning and involve up to 12 people. Sessions two and three aim to uncover your opportunities and outline your specific capabilities. Four and five outline the activities required to realise these opportunities and prioritise execution.

What to expect?

Completing a Discovering Opportunity sprint will provide a deeper understanding of your customer needs, allowing you to:

  • Make decisions about your products and services and the customer experience.
  • Align your culture, skills, and capabilities with the customer’s needs, ensuring efficient resource use.
  • Uncover competitive insights that will help you create a differentiated market position.

You’ll get a final Discovering Opportunity report that lists all findings from each session, including insights, observations, and a list of agreed-upon, prioritised activities to execute.

Full Day Stretch

Aligning Business to Brand

Why do it?

Without a clear strategy, businesses often find themselves directionless, developing logos, websites, advertising and other assets that don’t align with any clear business objectives. This workshop is designed to change that. By attending, you’ll define your strategic direction, ensuring all your efforts are aligned with your business goals. This workshop will guide you and your team through a series of integrated choices, resulting in a strategy highlighting your unique value and positioning you in the right place to drive business improvement.

How it Works

The workshop addresses key strategic questions for your business: What does success look like? How can it be achieved? Who are your key markets? How do you organise around your capabilities? What systems and processes are needed are required to manage the process? Through group discussions and breakout sessions involving up to 12 people, we’ll explore diverse opinions and refine them through debate, aligning them with your operational, business, and market realities. This collaborative approach ensures a clear, actionable strategy for your business success.

At its conclusion, the workshop will deliver clear objectives aligned with your business goals, crafting a brand strategy outline by:

  • Defining what success looks like to you and creating clear goals.

  • Outline the necessary activities, management structures, and systems to drive success.

All information is documented in a final report detailing agreed OKRs, key outcomes and an implementation timeline required to create a distinctive, competitive brand.
