Mercury ISS (Information Security Services) is a provider of consulting and advisory services in the area of information security for both software and hardware environments.

The Opportunity

Mercury ISS had grown organically with an ‘ad-hoc’ approach to it’s brand and brand identity. myBDgroup had been commissioned to undertake a programme of business development and identified the need for brand and brand identity that would mark it out as a professional entity in the growing information security services market.

The Brief

myBDgroup appointed Amplify Brand + Communications to develop a brand position based on existing research and create a stand-out, professional level brand identity.

The Objective

Create a brand identity that would communicate consistently with existing and potential clients seamlessly across all channels, both digital and print.

The Strategy

After reviewing existing brand assets and customer feedback a position was identified and a tagline of ‘Assurance for a digital world’ adopted. The logo was completely re-worked and all brand assets designed around the newly created brand identity and creative direction.

The Response

Leveraging off of the new brand and identity, after 18 months myBDgroup was able to establish Mercury ISS as a sought-after provider of information security services in the lucrative Canberra and Sydney markets.
